Rus vir die hart van die huis.
Last updated 18 August 2026
These are the terms on which you use Hartsrus. By signing up you agree to them. They are deliberately short and readable — if a term matters enough to bind you, it matters enough to be understandable.
Hartsrus is operated by Antoinette Anderson, trading as Hartsrus, a sole proprietorship of 706 Kort Street, 3 Amatispark, Elarduspark, Pretoria, South Africa. Contact: hallo@hartsrus.co.za, 079 159 5843.
Hartsrus is a planner for a whole family's life. You can upload a school document and have its dates read out for you, add your own work and personal commitments, assign tasks to family members, and see it all in one place.
It is a tool that helps you organise information. It is not a school, not an official source of school dates, and not a substitute for what your child's school tells you directly.
Hartsrus reads your documents automatically, and automatic reading is not perfect. Every date is shown to you to check before anything is published to your planner. That review step is not a formality — it is the point at which you, not us, confirm the dates are correct.
We work hard to read documents accurately, but we cannot guarantee that every date, time or detail is correct or complete. The school's own communication is always the authority. Please don't rely on Hartsrus alone for anything you cannot afford to miss.
Access is immediate on successful payment. There is a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment, and you may cancel at any time. The detail is on three separate pages: Delivery, Refunds and Cancellation. Those pages form part of these terms.
Please don't upload anything you don't have the right to upload, try to break or overload the service, resell access, or use Hartsrus to store information about people who would object to you holding it. We may suspend an account that does these things, and we'll tell you why.
The documents you upload and the events you create remain yours. You grant us permission to process them for the sole purpose of providing the service to you. We do not use your family's information to advertise to you or to anyone else. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
We aim to keep Hartsrus available and working, but we can't promise it will never be down or never contain a fault. Hartsrus is provided as it is.
To the extent the law allows, our liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Hartsrus is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under South African consumer law that cannot lawfully be limited — including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
You may cancel at any time. We may close an account that breaches these terms, or discontinue Hartsrus entirely — and if we ever did discontinue it, we would give you reasonable notice and refund any period you had paid for but not received.
If we change these terms materially, we will email you before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Hartsrus after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
